Thank you for your interest in GLOW. We have recently updated our bylaws to reflect our new mission of education, leadership, advocacy and empowerment of women of all ages in our region.
Please keep this information in mind when applying for membership:
The Executive Committee of GLOW reviews applications monthly. It may take up to 30 days for you to receive a response, depending on when your application was received.
Yearly dues are $125 per member. Payment plans are available upon request.
Membership shall consist of any woman who does business in the Greater Louisville area or has significant business knowledge and access to corporations and executives, community leaders, civic involvement and/or government officials and sectors to offer GLOW members.
There will be no more than three (3) members within any one industry allowed to apply or accept membership.
All members must have one (1) year proven business experience within their respective industry.
A current GLOW member must nominate all applicants. Current GLOW members are limited to nominate two (2) new members per year. All nominations will be verified.
Members must attend a minimum of three (3) meetings per year and purchase a ticket to the holiday party held each December. Members may substitute one (1) standard meeting requirement per year by attending a designated GLOW lunch meeting, held every other month.
Members must attend the annual meeting, typically held in February, or if unable to attend, a vote must be counted in the member’s absence.
Members must elect a committee in which to serve, lead, or advocate.
Members must be willing to participate in a Get Lit with GLOW seminar or business presentation to the GLOW organization.
