GLOW (Greater Louisville Outstanding Women) is a network of connected and creative women doing business in Louisville, Kentucky who come together monthly to strategize, share ideas, refer clients and promote the events of the organizations in which we are involved individually and together.

• We are made up of women who own a business or are a leading female member of a local business.  They are passionate about growing their businesses, are committed to providing maximum service to their clients and are committed to contributing individual and group efforts to enhance the Louisville community.
• Our diversity and our common goals are what make us truly GLOW.  We are comprised of single professionals, students, working mothers, newlyweds, women with fledgling businesses, women with established brands, women who advocate for change and women who are traditional in their approach to business.
• We are Connectors and serve on many boards and committees and we are innovators.  We come together to refer business to each other and to strategize to meet the many challenges that confront us as business owners and women. We learn from each other and those who have come before us how to overcome the obstacles on our way to financial success.
• Since its inception, GLOW has:
  • Adopted a room at the Center for Women and Families for women who have been a part of the cycle of domestic violence
  • Taken a small collection for Family Scholar House at our Christmas party
  • Co-Hosted a Mayoral Forum on Small Business and
  • Hosted political and civic leaders at our meetings which we hold once per month at unique locations around the city.
• We welcome referrals from the Louisville community for new clients and business and we acept new members only if the potential member's business does not conflict with an established GLOW member's business in order to keep our internal GLOW referral base pure.  We actively seek community financial support as well so that we may grow to award eventually scholarships to women who want to begin a business.
